We envisioned, we believed and we created.
The Dallas Pottery Invitational was established twelve years ago through the collaboration and vision of Amy Halko, Liz Lurie and Louise Rosenfield. The effort was to create an environment to showcase the works of highly acclaimed ceramic artist in an art gallery setting. The primary focus was placed on emphasizing the beauty, function and pleasure of owning ceramic works and how they might enhance an environment of entertainment, family gatherings or a quiet moment sipping a cup of hot tea. Through the years the Dallas Pottery Invitational has brought a stronger connection to function and art. Educating their audience to the many uses of ceramic works has been illustrated at their growing event through partners and vendors ranging from flower arrangements to specialty coffee drinks. In an ongoing effort to share these works the Dallas Pottery Invitational celebrates twelve years of amazing work and dedication to the Dallas community to open eyes to the endless possibilities of functional ceramic wares. Our efforts to archive previous years work of some of the most talented ceramic artist today show how amazing and functional these works are. Take a look and enjoy.
