Greg Ray Jazz Group 

Greg Ray, the band’s namesake, has been performing around Dallas for 25 years. When joined by his fellow musicians, the Greg Ray Jazz Group creates a hip ambiance through the sounds of eclectic jazz that’s guaranteed to make the night memorable. 

On Friday, April 17, the Greg Ray Jazz Group will perform during DPI’s opening reception—complete with fine wines, hors d’oeuvres, and beautifully crafted ceramic wares. 

Trinity Ceramics  offers a wide variety

of tools, supplies and raw materials for the artist /crafts person interested in working in ceramics and related fields.

A family-owned business, Trinity Ceramic supports artists and crafts people working in ceramics and related fields. Its warehouse is fully stocked with literally tons of great wheels, slab rollers and kilns from a variety of manufacturers. 

 

On Friday, April 17, Trinity Ceramic will host a pop-up store filled with specialized tools-of-the-trade. 

The Creative Arts Center of Dallas offers North Texas’ largest community-based visual arts education program. 

CAC works to nurture a community where citizen artists discover, develop,

and express their artistic vision. The organization offers more than 500 classes for teens and adults in numerous disciplines, such as ceramics, drawing, glass, mosaic,

and stone carving. 

From Friday, April 17 to Sunday, April 19, CAC will showcase a delightful gallery of eclectic works from current and past students. CAC will also host an informative process-to-product exhibit detailing an artist’s development exercise. 

The Craft Guild of Dallas provides a

variety of arts and craft instruction for both beginner and advanced makers.

Adults interested in advancing their art will benefit from the Craft Guild’s

year-round education program focused on bookbinding, drawing, painting, glass, metalsmithing, and other traditional arts. The Craft Guild also offers after school programs and summer camps for younger students interested in mastering

their skills. 

From Friday, April 17 to Sunday, April 19, the Craft Guild will present information

on classes, workshops, and youth programs. 

LoomStyle is a group of weavers who share a passion for creativity, fine craftsmanship, and beautifully executed functional textiles. 

LoomStyle members choose the best fibers and weave structures to create textiles that last for many years, bringing beauty and joy to sometimes routine tasks around the home and beyond. 

From Friday, April 17 to Sunday, April 19, LoomStyle will host a pop-up store stocked with expertly hand-woven linens.

Houndstooth Coffee is an integral

pattern in the fabric of the Texas Coffee community.

So you like coffee? We’re stoked that Houndstooth Coffee, will be joining us again this year. They'll be serving Lattes, Cappuccinos and hot brewed coffee Saturday morning, the 18th and Sunday morning, the 19th.

 

On Saturday morning (April 18) 11:00 a.m.  - 2 p.m. and Sunday noon – 3 p.m. (April 19), Houndstooth will serve lattes, cappuccinos, and hot-brewed coffee.

RAFT, (Rosenfield Arts Foundation of Texas) 

RAFT sustains the mission of the Dallas Pottery Invitational. The annual Spring show and sale exposes the art buying community to excellent utilitarian clay art with the goal of increasing the use of functional art items in each collector’s daily life.
